RETURNS AND REFUNDS

If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase, whether in-store or online, you’re welcome to return it to any Toys R Us & Babies R Us store. Here’s how:

Conditions for Returns:

  • The item is returned within 60 days of purchase.
  • The item is in its original, factory-sealed packaging.
  • You have your proof of purchase on hand.
  • All returns and exchanges will be subject to an assessment before a final decision is made.

Conditions for Refunds:

  • Gift receipts will be refunded to a gift card
  • Buy Now Pay Later options will be refunded to a gift card-this includes but not limited to Pay Just Now, PayFlex, Mobicred
  • Wicodes will be refunded to a gift card
  • Original payment card must be present to qualify for refund
  • Cash payments will be refunded in cash
  • Debit cards will be refunded in cash

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT FOR REFUNDS OR EXCHANGE

Here’s a quick list of items that, unfortunately, we can’t accept for return or exchange before or after the 60-day period:

  • E-Vouchers and gift cards
  • Used apparel
  • Scratched DVDs or gaming discs
  • Maternity wear (unless unworn and sealed in original packaging)
  • Breast pumps, bottles, teats, and dummies (unless unopened with seals intact)
  • Opened food or formula products

DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY PRODUCTS
We understand how frustrating it can be when a product doesn’t work as expected. If you’ve purchased a defective item, here’s what you need to know:

Time Frame: You can return defective products up to 6 months after purchase.

Definition of Defect:
A “Defective Product” has a significant manufacturing or design flaw that makes it less safe or usable than expected.
The defect must be inherent to the product and not caused by improper use.

Return Process:

  • Provide detailed reasons for claiming the product is defective.
  • Include information about how the product was used and, if possible, images of the product.
  • If the product is deemed not defective or found faulty due to misuse, refunds or exchanges cannot be granted. However, we can provide a repair quote upon request.


FOR REMOTE RETURNS

Can’t make it to the store? No worries! You can request a collection for assessment by contacting our friendly Customer Service Team. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Assessment Time: It may take up to 21 days for feedback on the item.
  • Collection Fee: A fee will apply, and pricing will be provided upon request.
  • Non-Defective Items: If the item is found not defective or damaged due to misuse, a R65 fee will be charged for returning the item.

Key Cancellation Details:

  • Orders can be cancelled anytime before you receive the notification of your scheduled delivery date
  • Late cancellations may incur delivery charges.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order or registration for a breach of these terms.
